Fresh Cantabrian Anchovies are one of Spain’s most iconic tapas: classic, flavourful, natural, and healthy. They’re an essential in any bar, tavern, or restaurant. Our Anchovies are caught in the Cantabrian Sea, exclusively during the spring season, using natural and traditional methods. Once brought ashore in the port of Santoña—the cradle of anchovies in Spain—they are carefully selected, cleaned, and packed by hand, one by one. A unique touch: inside each tin, you’ll find a slip of paper bearing the signature of the person who prepared that anchovy, adding a personal and authentic detail to every tin.
