Aoraki salmon thrive in the fast glacial flows, and ice-cold waters that surround Mt Cook (Aoraki). This environment creates a fish that is known for its clean taste and delicate texture. Rich and decadent, yet not overpowering, Aoraki Salmon uses a traditional age-old Scottish method of smoking to produce the finest quality cold smoked salmon.
The process is long and slow allowing the smoke to infuse the salmon giving the rich oak-smoked flavour with a silky and smooth texture. This product is ready to eat and best served at room temperature.
