Who doesn't love a neatly sliced, juicy orange?
A common favourite, we all know the orange but did you know that it was not named because of it's colour? It fact, many oranges actually have green skin. Colder climates turn the skin orange however in more tropical parts of the world, the skin will remain bright green with no change in flavour to the fruit inside.
It is suspected that the orange got its name from the Sanskrit word for fragrant – Naranja.
Eat whole, freshly squeeze into juice, freeze for a healthy icy snack on a hot day, the list goes on.
These oranges will be packed loose in your box of goodness. This is one way we work to be more sustainable and reduce our use of plastic.
