Using Japans finest Sake Rice and ultra-soft alpine water from New Zealand's Southern Alps, Zenkuro gives a unique taste of a collaboration between New Zealand and Japan's world-class ingredients.
The fermented mash is transferred to bags, then gently pressed with local river rocks in a traditional pressing tank. Strong, flavoursome and full bodied, just like Matau, the legendary sleeping giant of Lake Wakatipu. Matches well with a wide range of Japanese, Kiwi and European style dishes.
