Potatoes (Agria, kg)

Agria's are the multi-purpose queen of potatoes. They have become a staple in many New Zealand households as they can be used in place of any other variety, whether boiled, roasted or fried.

They are particularly ideal for mashing thanks to their fluffy interior and baking too, as they don't absorb much excess water. They have very little free starch, so don't become gluey when cooked.

The potatoes grow quite large and are characteristically oval in shape, with yellow skin and darker yellow flesh.

Agria potatoes will store in a cool, dark environment for up to a month. Refrigerating the potatoes will change their flavour.
