The most appropriate pear for many a circumstance, it's a classic and tastes just as a pear should. Nothing too fancy but good all the same. The Green pear is sweet and fragrant with hints of vanilla. It's a good choice for baking, holding it's shape well when poached or baked.

The green pear comes with it's very own special bonus feature - it doesn't brown so quickly when exposed to the air making it well suited to salads or any dish where it's left to be eaten it's natural state.
